How much does one pound of fat equal? Any ideas, any guesses. It is roughly 3,500 calories. That's roughly the amount of food two grown men need to eat each day. So that's a lot of intake. I am guessing you would probably be interested in losing one pound of fat? We all would, right? Obviously not eating anything would help you eliminate those calories, but where would the body take them from? It would start with your muscle reverses. Not only will you the benefit from walking, you will have to carry stuff home also. As an added bonus this is great for the environment. Try to find some exercise that interests you. I enjoy working out on my rowing machine. No idea why, but I enjoy it and it's great for my body. If you enjoy the exercise your more likely to do it, right. Try to set yourself beatable challenges,I try to row a little further everyday only 10-30 meters each day. Something I feel I can accomplish. Every time I manage to achieve my target I feel great.
Stop eating out. Avoid all fast food restaurants like the plague. That goes for your favourite coffee place too. You would be surprised at the mountain of calories that go into your favourite early morning caffeine treat. If you have to coffee in the morning. I would A) make it yourself,cheaper, you will be amazed at the high quality beans you can now afford. Or B) get a small cup, and inquire at the calorie content. Of course if you've been working out hard, treat yourself. But make sure you know how many calories that treat is.
As long as your burning off more calories over the week than your in taking. You will lose the pounds. It may take some time but it will happen and once you get into a routine you will find it much easier. As your consistent weight losses add up you will be amazed at how much you have lost.
